French consumer tech brand Alcatel announced a strategic retail partnership with leading e-commerce platform Flipkart. As part of the collaboration, Alcatel will launch its newest line of smartphones on Flipkart’s main platform as well as its quick commerce service, FK Minutes.
The partnership is aimed at expanding Alcatel’s presence in the Indian market. According to the company, its “Make in India” smartphones will feature premium innovation and signature French design, catering to digitally savvy consumers across metro areas and Tier II and Tier III cities.
Feature-Rich Devices at Competitive Prices
Ansh Rathi, Chief Operating Officer at Alcatel India, stated, “This partnership is a major step forward in enhancing the smartphone experience by offering feature-rich, premium devices at attractive price points. At Alcatel, we are dedicated to building a seamless, connected ecosystem across platforms and devices. With Flipkart’s extensive reach, we aim to forge strong, meaningful connections with young consumers across both urban and emerging markets in India.”
Looking ahead, Alcatel plans to expand its product lineup, introducing a range of connected devices to further strengthen its market presence.
Founded in 1996, Alcatel is a French tech brand operated by TCL Communication under a trademark licensing agreement with Nokia. Today, the brand is available in over 160 countries worldwide.
