Origin Documentation Fee (ODF) for shipments from Saudi Arabia to global destinations.

Maersk will be revising the Documentation Fee Origin for shipments from Saudi Arabia to global destinations, effective May 1, 2025.

Non-SPOT Bookings: The rate is determined based on the Price Calculation Date (PCD).

For non-FMC shipments, PCD refers to the scheduled departure date of the first water leg at the time of booking confirmation.

For FMC shipments, PCD is the last container gate-in date.

SPOT Bookings: The rate is based on the first vessel ETD at booking confirmation.

For your reference, we have provided sample rate structures for shipments from Dammam, SA to Jawaharlal Nehru, IN, effective May 1, 2025, until further notice. These rates may be subject to future adjustments, and we will notify you accordingly.

Additionally, these rates are subject to applicable surcharges, including local and contingency charges. They do not impact any tariff notified, published, or filed under local regulatory requirements.

For trades governed by the US Shipping Act or China Maritime Regulations, any quotations or surcharges differing from Maersk Line’s tariff will only be binding if included in a service contract or an amendment filed with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) or the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, as applicable.
